Medicaid Renewals Reminder: Don’t Risk Losing Your Medicaid Coverage

Louisiana Medicaid has restarted annual renewals. This process had been paused because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but federal law requires these renewals again.
Three things you need to know:

It’s important that Louisiana Medicaid has your current contact information. If they mail you a renewal packet and you don’t respond, you may lose your coverage. Make sure Medicaid has your correct address and information so you don’t miss your renewal information

Not everyone has the same renewal period. Call us to see if it’s your time for renewal.

If your Medicaid status changes because of your renewal, you could lose your Peoples Health coverage. Or you could be eligible for better benefits. Either way, we have other plans for you.
