Support. Participate.
Give Back.

Peoples Health understands the importance of providing our plan members with superior care and takes pride in supporting our community.

Peoples Health has been a proud supporter of the communities we serve for more than 20 years.  From employee volunteerism, participation in community events and corporate sponsorships, we understand the importance of giving back.

We invest in the communities we serve and believe that with success comes responsibility. And we match our actions with our words. Peoples Health employees give countless hours to local nonprofits, whether it be serving meals with Second Harvest Food Bank, donating blood to Ochsner Blood Bank, or helping out at various area Senior Olympic games.

We offer senior wellness programs in the community to help educate and improve quality of life. From fitness classes to health seminars, there’s something for everyone. The programs are free and open to the public.

Peoples Health and Jefferson Council on Aging have partnered to provide programs at three senior centers in Jefferson Parish. These programs include music therapy, tai chi and other fitness classes tailored to the needs of seniors, as well as health presentations. As a service to the community, Peoples Health also provides operational support and funding at the Gretna Senior and Wellness Center.

There’s something for everyone at the centers!

Join us for a variety of programs from fitness and art classes to educational overviews on topics such as healthy living, disease prevention, nutrition and mental health.

Peoples Health works with local senior centers, organizations and recreational services to offer a variety of programs and activities to help seniors enjoy fulfilling lives.

Knowledge is power when it comes to your health, and Peoples Health wants to support the health of our communities by offering fitness classes and wellness education programs.

Peoples Health provides support to many community organizations throughout Louisiana.  We work with many organizations to help build a healthier community.
