Peoples Health Routine Transportation Benefit
Peoples Health dual-eligible special needs plans offer a routine transportation benefit. Members pay $0 for transportation to and from network doctor offices, pharmacies and other plan-approved locations within 75 miles of the home. The number of covered one-way trips varies by plan.

When are transportation services available?
Routine transportation is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Availability for specific dates and times cannot be guaranteed. Weekend and holiday service is not available.
How do I schedule a trip?
Call the Customer Service phone number on the back of your member ID card at least three business days before your appointment. We can help you schedule a trip with the Peoples Health network transportation provider.
Please note the following:
- You must be able to walk without assistance from the driver; if you need help getting in or out of the vehicle, you can bring a companion who is 18 or older
- Multi-passenger vehicles for this service cannot accommodate special needs
- You may have to share a ride with other passengers in a van or bus
How do I cancel a trip?
Call to let us know by 5 p.m. on the last business day before the scheduled trip. If you cancel later or miss the pickup window, the trip may be deducted from your annual transportation benefit.
