Introduction to Network Pharmacies
Our online provider directory also provides information about Peoples Health network pharmacies. To get a complete description of your prescription coverage, including how to fill your prescriptions, please review your plan’s Evidence of Coverage and the Peoples Health formulary.
We call the pharmacies in our online directory our “network pharmacies” because we have made arrangements with them to provide prescription drugs to plan members. In most cases, your prescriptions are covered under your Peoples Health plan only if they are filled at a network pharmacy or through our mail-order pharmacy service. Once you go to one pharmacy, you are not required to continue going to the same pharmacy to fill your prescription but can switch to any other of our network pharmacies. We will fill prescriptions at out-of-network pharmacies under certain circumstances as described in the Evidence of Coverage.
This directory is updated each month. All network pharmacies may not be listed in this directory. Pharmacies may have been added or removed since this directory was last updated. This means the pharmacies listed here may no longer be in our network or there may be newer pharmacies in our network that are not yet listed.
This list is current as of:
For Peoples Health Group Medicare members: You can go to all the pharmacies in our online directory, but your costs for some drugs may be less at pharmacies that offer preferred cost-sharing. The results for a pharmacy search will show either “yes” or “no” next to the Preferred Cost-Sharing Pharmacy field to distinguish which pharmacies in our network offer preferred cost-sharing.
You can get prescription drugs shipped to your home through our network mail-order delivery program. For more information, please contact us or choose “Mail order” in the Pharmacy Type search field in the Pharmacy Search.
If you have questions about any of the above, please contact us.
You must choose your plan name when searching for a pharmacy. You can search for network pharmacies by pharmacy type. Pharmacy types are mail-order, home infusion, long-term care or retail, which includes chain pharmacies. You can also search by pharmacy name or by using geographical information, like a city or parish. Pharmacy search results will display in alphabetical order by pharmacy name.
