Peoples Health is committed to helping our plan members manage their health and be active. That is why most of our plans offer a fitness benefit through the Peoples Health Fitness program. With the program, you receive a complimentary membership to your choice of one of our contracted fitness centers. This complimentary membership gives you access to all of the center’s amenities, including cardiovascular equipment (for example, treadmills and stationary bikes), weight-training equipment, classes, pools and saunas.*

Getting your fitness center membership is easy!

  • Click Find a Fitness Center to view our list of participating centers. Begin your search by selecting Fitness from the Services drop-down menu. 
  • To notify us of the fitness center you have selected, or if you need help finding a center, call member services at one of the numbers listed below.
  • If this is your first time joining a fitness center through your plan’s fitness benefit, you may begin going to the center within 48 hours of notifying us of your selection. If you are currently a member of a fitness center through your plan’s benefit and you are changing centers, you may begin going to the new center on the first of the month following the month when you make your change.
  • On your first visit to your fitness center choice, present your Peoples Health plan ID card to finalize your membership.

You can change your fitness center choice at any time. If you would like to switch your membership from one center to another, please contact member services.

Please note: You may be enrolled in only one fitness center at a time. Additionally, some centers may require advance notice of cancellation of your fitness center membership, even though Peoples Health does not require such notice. If you are thinking of canceling your membership, you may want to discuss any advance notice requirements with a facility staff member.

*Any fitness center services that normally have an additional fee, such as personal training or classes that must be paid for individually, are not included in the complimentary membership.
