Hearty Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1 apple
- 2/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon of brown sugar or 1 teaspoon of Splenda brown sugar mix
- 1 cup milk
Directions:
Remove the core of the apple and chop it.
Mix the water, apple juice, and apples in a pot.
Bring it to a boil over high heat, and blend in the rolled oats and cinnamon.
Return mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, and let simmer until thick, about 3 minutes.
Spoon into serving bowls, and pour milk over the servings.
