Eligibility Guidelines

Determining if you're eligible to enroll in Peoples Health Group Medicare Gold (HMO-POS) or Peoples Health Group Medicare for OGB (HMO-POS) is easy! In fact, if you satisfy these enrollment requirements, you're eligible to become a member.

To be eligible for either of thes plans, you must:

• Be a retiree with an employer that is contracted with Peoples Health
• Be enrolled in Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B
• Not have ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease), with limited exceptions, such as if you develop ESRD when you are already a member of a plan that we offer, or you were a member of a different plan that was terminated

Additionally, you must reside within our service area, which includes the following parishes in Louisiana:
