Peoples Health Is Growing
Established in 1994, Peoples Health provides Medicare beneficiaries in southeast Louisiana with Medicare benefits and services designed to help them optimize their health. Our choice of products include the Peoples Health Choices 65 (HMO), Peoples Health Choices Plus (HMO), Peoples Health Choices Select (HMO), Peoples Health Secure Choice (HMO SNP), Peoples Health Secure Health (HMO SNP) and Peoples Health Group Medicare (HMO-POS) health plans. Our service territory covers Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, Pointe Coupee, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Washington, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana parishes.
Plan Rating
The Medicare program rates how well Medicare health and drug plans perform in different categories (for example, detecting and preventing illness, ratings from patients, patient safety, drug pricing and customer service) and how well these plans perform overall. Plans are rated on a scale of one to five stars.
