Mark Singletary

Mark Singletary is president and publisher of New Orleans Publishing Group. As publisher, he is responsible for CityBusiness, the weekly business journal serving greater New Orleans and over 50 specialty publications for industry, the arts and service organizations. Prior to coming to New Orleans, he was the publisher of Journal Record Publishing Co., in Oklahoma City. There he managed the daily Journal Record and the weekly Tinker Take-Off.

Mark is a graduate of Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas, with a degree in accounting and has been in the newspaper business for 28 years.

In New Orleans, Mark is a member of the Jefferson Chamber Board of Directors, the New Orleans United Way Board of Directors, the Juvenile Research Foundation Board of Directors and the East Jefferson Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Most recently, in Oklahoma, he was a member of the following organizations. A member of the Oklahoma Academy, the Oklahoma City Rotary Club, the Economic Club and also served as a director for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, the Oklahoma City Life Underwriters' Foundation, Oklahoma Venture Forum, Allied Arts Council and chairman of the Tinker Leadership Council. He also served as co-chair of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation annual gala for 2000 and served for a year with CommStar, a community relations group affiliated with Tinker Air Force Base.

Mark is divorced and has four children.
