A Tribute to Your Champion
All nominees verified to be at least 65 years of age and a resident of the nomination area will receive a packet, which will include an official certificate signed by the Peoples Health Champions sponsors. This certificate will serve as a lasting tribute that their accomplishments have not gone unnoticed.
Recognizing Our Champions
Although our community is blessed with thousands of Champions, there are a few that warrant special recognition. These Champions best represent that our greatest achievements can come after age 65. We call these individuals “Grand Champions” and will publicly recognize them during the 2006 New Orleans Saints season. One Champion will be honored during an on-field award ceremony during each Saints home game.
A Selection Committee of local business and community leaders meets regularly to review nominated Champions and identify those who will be recognized.
