- Regular Primary Care Physician (definition) Visits
- Annual Influenza Injections
- Pneumococcal injections every five to six years
- Cholesterol Screening (every two years beginning at age 20)
- Blood pressure measurement (every two years beginning at age 18)
- Sigmoidoscopy (every three to five years beginning at age 50)
- Stool for Occult Blood (annually after age 50)
Women Only
- Mammograms (every two years ages 40 - 51, annually after age 52)
- Annual Well Women visits
Men Only
- PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) Test (beginning at age 50)
- Digital Rectal Exams (annually after age 40)
Diabetic Patients
- Glycosylated Hemoglobin - HbA1c (every three months)
- Lipid Profile (annually)
- Microalbuminuria (annually)
- Retinal Eye Exam (annually)
- Foot exam (annually)
- Blood Sugar Checks - check with your physician regarding the frequency of these checks
