With the Peoples Health 401(k) plan through Merrill Lynch, Peoples Health works with employees to plan for a financially stable retirement. It’s never too early to start planning and there are certain incentives that come with saving, as well. When investing funds in a 401(k), an employee’s contribution is deducted from their paycheck before taxes are withheld, meaning that they save money on taxes because their taxable income is lower.
Once they have been an employee with Peoples Health for one year, the company will match their contribution dollar for dollar up to 5 percent of their bi-weekly salary.
Employees can enroll in the 401(k) plan beginning on the first of the month following their first 30 days of employment.
